What are the Continuing Certification Requirements for a PMP

PMPs must complete and submit a minimum of sixty Professional Development Units (PDUs) during each three year Continuing Certification cycle. A PMP’s Continuing Certification cycle can be identified by the dates on their PMP Certificate. PMPs must also comply with the PMP Code of Professional Conduct to maintain certification status.

Manitaining your PMI certification will provide you a detailed overview.

All PMPs should maintain a personal CCR folder with documentation that supports reported activities. A percentage of PMPs will be randomly selected for auditing purposes each year; therefore documentation should be maintained for at least 12 months after the CCR cycle has ended.

PMPs may also view their CCR transcripts online and can also report activities by logging into this website and accessing the link to CCRS at the top of the screen.

The PMI-WCC is an accredited Category A Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). As such, PMPs who attend programs sponsored by the PMI-WCC can receive PDUs corresponding to the type of program offered.
