Finding your "North Star": Mapping Principles to Action Leaders without solid principles fail at transforming organizations. Without a guiding “North Star”, strategies and plans are directionless, with people left to performing tasks without purpose. Initiatives that focus on tactical plans rather than changing individual mindsets will fail. In order to lead an organization, principles need to be outlined first, followed by strategy and vision, and then tactical plans and roadmaps. Leaders need to transform themselves first in order to effectively transform organizations, changing negative leadership traits into positive ones by clarifying their own principles. In this presentation, Agile principles, such as Scrum, Scaled Agile, LeSS, and DAD will be explored. In teams, participants will have a chance to reflect on these various principles, discuss and select a set that resonates with them. A roadmap will be created with a set of tactical actions to execute these principles. Attending this event will earn you 1.5 PDUs under the Leadership category. About the Presenter - Dr. Gail Ferreira Dr. Gail Ferreira is an agile expert who has led multiple transformations, coaching individuals and organizations around the world for Fortune 50 organizations.
