Speaker Topic Details:

1.)   Roger Haskett presents Being Human in the Virtual World

The pandemic has changed how we interact. Engagement has become more important than ever but it’s harder than ever to engage in a virtual-Covid world. This session explores how to be better humans in a virtual world. This session is upbeat, fun, funny and engaging. It leaves participants full of ideas and the positive energy to turn these ideas into reality in their lives.

Toolbox Tips:

  • How to be BETTER HUMANS in this (Covid) world (for ourselves and others)
  • How to CREATE ENGAGEMENT POWER and why this is so valuable
  • It's hard to engage when stuck in negative so we will explore how to FIGHT TO BE POSITIVE

When all else fails, HELP YOURSELF BY HELPING OTHERS

2.)   Rick Lloyd presents Navigating the “Next Normal,” Securing Unexpected Change

Travis Credit Union (TCU) is a $4.5B plus sized credit union located in Solano county.  Like many of our peers in the banking and credit union space, our operational and security controls were exclusively managed as a centralized back office function located at our corporate headquarters which served our member facing functions in our branches.

However, as a result of the pandemic, the rug was pulled from this traditional support paradigm.  TCU, now deemed an essential business to our members and community, had to balance the need of continuing to provide financial services during a pandemic while protecting the safety of our employees.  This presentation will explore the journey TCU made in changing its back-office functions during an unprecedented operating climate, and how TCU maintained its security compliance ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our member and employee information.

3.)   Kim Snyder presents Remote Engagement Strategies for Project Managers

It’s been over 2 years of boring video calls. The faceless and voiceless black boxes are staring at us more and more.   How do you break this cycle so that your team will want to engage with you?  And want to work with you?  This keynote is for all levels of experience. You will discover:

  • What to do to get more engagement in video meetings
  • Ways to demonstrate that you are someone that your team wants to engage with
  • How to structure communication that increases the know, like and trust factor
